Proposal Title: A Mountain of grief, 03/18/2008, Other
Proposal Synopsis: The idea consists in creation a memorial on one of the squares of Baghdad in the form of pyramidal mountain, which I named as "A Mountain of grief". The memorial consists of three parts:
1) The foundation for a monument is monolithic ferro-concrete (According to the plan it is a pyramid, pressed into the ground with magnitude 50*50 meters and 1 meter deep;
2) Mountain from stone (which would be symbolizing the quantity of the lost innocent inhabitants, in the ratio 1 person/1 stone)
3) An electronic indicator setted into the foundation (the list of all lost innocent inhabitants (surname, name, year of a birth, city)
Color of the used stone is supposed to be black (dark-gray). Weight of black weight will be menacing prevention to all World about absurd of the military conflict. A person coming closer to the mountain, will realize more and more the scale of a trouble and value its and others life.
Gradually a mountain will increase and will collapse eventually, going out from the set scopes of memorial, a contour is Iraq! The main question will become: how many lives are needed for mountain to fail down?
